Shumin M. Zhang, M.D., Sc.D., a researcher of the Harvard School of Public Health, and his colleagues released findings showing that Vitamin B6 and folic acid (Vitamin B9) reduced the risk of breast cancer.
The study shows that women who took daily vitamins containing the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of these two vitamins had 27% fewer incidences of breast cancer. These findings were publised in 2003.
