Cardiomyopathy
Cardiomyopathy
is very serious. It refers to a condition in which the heart
muscle becomes inflamed, the condition when the heart's electrical
activity is disordered. (The heart beats because of electrical
signals which move through it.)
There are three types of Cardiomyopathy: dilated, hypertrophic
and restrictive.
In its most common form, dilated (congestive) cardiomyopathy
occurs when the heart cavity is enlarged and stretched causing
a weakness of the heart which doesn't pump normally. In
that case, patients develop congestive heart failure
